Product Description
You are quickly able to installation. The bag goes on with an easy draw string closure to trap the debris. You screw a regular garden hose on to create a suction effect which allows you to add a little water to your hot tub as you clean it. The Vac must be completely submerged or water will spray everywhere like some others have mentioned when trying to use it in the small fountains or landscape pools. The collection bag attaches nice and tight and I never have to empty until finished vacuuming.
Highly recommend this if you have a pool or spa that just needs some freshening up.
- Compact - this can be broken down and boxed up when it's not needed and quickly put back together
- Powerful - sucked up all the leaves, bugs, and junk from the bottom of my pool in less than ten minutes
- The removable mesh bags is amazing and easily cleaned out
NOTE:
1. The suction of the pool cleaner depends on the water pressure in your home.
2. After use, please turn off the faucet to avoid splashing.
3. Use a minimum 1/2" diameter garden hose, No longer than 50' for best results.
4. Pool vacuum pressure can be caused by improper hose diameter.
5. Min used pool water depth: 60cm/23.6in.

There was a problem filtering reviews right now. Please try again later.
The powerful suction tho got everything from the maple helicopters to full leaves and even the diving sticks the kids left in the pool. We didn’t get all the wrinkles out of the liner but the vacuum had no problem cleaning them (tho it does work easier if you go with the wrinkles).
Now, it’s not perfect…at one point the entire head popped off the handle so I think it could be improved by having it twist on vs just pushing it. But even then, all the rubbish stayed in the baggie.
I saw a review complaining that some particles escape and that is true. This mesh bag does not capture every little particle…I wasn’t expecting it to do that much. The amount it did get tho was amazing! We have trees all around and I don’t get out there everyday to skim (and the skimmer attachment is rubbish!) so this will be nice to do a couple times a month.

Buyer beware - I really tried to give this thing the benefit of the doubt.
I was going to return this but I forgot and missed the return window date.
This thing is pointless. All it picks up is the bigg stuff you can get with the pool net anyway... WASTE of $. Thanks to my forgetfulness, missing window to return, I'm now stuck with crappola I can't use (and no point in giving it to someone else). I've now tried this 5x and the fine dirt is STILL on the bottom of my pool. It just resettled and is so fine, it goes right through my sand filter and right back to the bottom of the pool again.
Update 1:
Final opinion? This thing is worth $15 at BEST. Can't for the life of me see how they think this thing is worth $30.
I had to reduce this to 3 stars. Quite honestly, if you're trying to get the fine dust up, you're gonna have to work for it.
Explaining the pictures: the one with the most dirt is the "before." The one with just the side of the pool is after 1st vacuum. The other pic is after the second vacuum.
With that being said, this thing is only going to pick up things that your hand-held skimmer will pick up. The only plus side to using this is if you have to add water to your pool anyway, this makes the job quicker. However, the fine dust IS problematic. It just goes through the bag. Someone else suggested the nut bags work... I tried it. They are liars. Even with the nut bag inside the vacuum bag (double bagged, basically) it STILL just went through the grid of the bags like a cloud of dust, just clouding up your water.
I have a 10lb sand pump on my 10 foot pool (I don't mess around lol) and it's only the sand pump that is getting rid of any dust. Basically, by stirring the dust up with the vacuum, the filter sucks it into the sand of the pump, and with each vacuuming the dust settles to the bottom of the pool less and less. However, it will probably take at LEAST 4x to get it to be clean. And I'm going to have to do a backwash on the pump after, because that fine dust is just going to work its way through the sand and back into the pool again. If I would have known this, I would have just bought a much better pump that connects to the pump. Pretty much a waste of money. If this is the process, where its relying on your pump to actually filter the water, might as well just climb in and shuffle around and stir it up while staying cool at the same time. 😂
The only positive thing is, it DID get half the dust the first time... but 1/2 isn't "clean." As you will see in my original post, the bottom of the pool was actually worse than the "before" picture before the 1st vacuum.
Quite honestly, I'm not sure I'm seeing a difference after the 2nd vacuum. I dunno. If you can get the thicker "dirt" and debris, bugs, leaves with just a manual skimmer pole, this thing seems pointless.
Original review:
Ok, so first I should say that I forgot to take a before pic when I got the vacuum. I had to use a "before" picture that I had taken several weeks before cleaning the pool, so the pool was actually at LEAST 50% worse than the "before" picture. The "after" picture is what it looked like 24 hours after cleaning the pool. The reason I only took a pic of a portion of the pool in the after pic is because that was the only area that really had any noticeable dust settle. So, yeah, it really did far better than I expected on the fine dust.
Yes, the bag on the vacuum does allow for the really fine stuff to get through. So, as I'm vacuuming the bigger pieces, it's also producing an underwater "dust cloud." Expect that. Also expect that to cause the pool water to get pretty cloudy by the time you're done vacuuming. However, now that allowed my pool filter to do its thing and cycle the water, cleaning it from all the really fine particles. Keep in mind, I have a 10lb sand pump on my pool. I cannot say how well this method will work if you're using a cheap filter pump.
My guess is it will take me 2 vacuums to get ALL the debris up... but, for a cheap vacuum (I paid around $30-$35 I think), that's not a problem. I'm going to give it another 24 hours to make sure the water has cleared fully and all the "dust" is settled to vacuum up. But I think very little (if any) more dust is going to settle. As you can see in the pic the water is pretty clear already.
What I don't like: a few times I had to keep re-screwing the handle back in. If it gets even slightly loose, the vacuum head wants to flip around, and working with the heavy hose (I need to get one of those new modern light-weight no-kink hoses) was already a nuisance. But, again, it wasn't too bad.
The handle is super skinny (literally like a thumb!), and is not very long. But if you have a smaller above-ground pool, it does the job (mine is a round 10 foot Intex).
I bought some nut bags (for making almond milk, etc) to use inside the bag it came with, which has a finer grate; but, did not use it, because I wanted to see how it worked as-is first. Seeing how well it did I don't think I'll need the nut bags.
If you found this review helpful, please let me know. It makes me smile to know I was helpful. Thank you.

If however, like me, you only want to be able to keep the framed paddling pool clean and also accept at this price it's not going to be perfect then this is def the product for you!!!
It does a good job, we do have decent mains water pressure which may make the difference. It does fit/work with my hose lock connectors however it does occasionally coming loose and losing suction if I move the hose but I have found the knack (push hose on tight and hold hose still to pole with some slack).
I think trying to use it on a really shallow paddling pool would be difficult too so this product is ideal for the framed paddling pools and small frame pools prob from six foot up to the 14foot ones with at least a good 2+ foot depth of water! Hope this helps!
