First and foremost, the CuLator PowerPak 1.0 lives up to its promise of eliminating metals and preventing stains. We were dealing with unsightly metal staining on the pool and spa surfaces, as well as issues related to metals in the water. This product came to the rescue and completely resolved those problems. Our pool and spa water now look pristine and crystal clear.
The ease of use is a major advantage. Simply place the PowerPak in the skimmer or pump basket, and it goes to work immediately. There's no need for complicated installations or adjustments. It couldn't be simpler, making it accessible even for those with limited pool maintenance experience.
The effectiveness of this product is impressive. It continuously removes metals from the water, preventing them from causing stains on pool surfaces or discoloration of the water. It has saved us a great deal of time and money that would have otherwise been spent on stain removal and chemical treatments.
The long-lasting nature of the CuLator PowerPak is also worth noting. A single PowerPak can last for several months, depending on the water conditions and the size of your pool or spa. This longevity ensures that you won't need to constantly replace it, making it a cost-effective solution in the long run.
Additionally, the peace of mind that comes with knowing your pool and spa are protected from metal-related issues is invaluable. No more worrying about metal staining or discoloration—CuLator has it covered.
In conclusion, the CuLator Metal Eliminator & Stain Preventer for Pools & Spas PowerPak 1.0 is a remarkable product that has dramatically improved the quality and appearance of our pool and spa water. Its effectiveness, ease of use, and long-lasting nature make it an indispensable addition to our pool maintenance routine. I wholeheartedly give this product five stars and highly recommend it to any pool or spa owner facing metal-related water problems. CuLator delivers on its promise, providing clean, stain-free water and peace of mind. 🏊♂️🌊✨👍
I was very skeptical about this, but in my case, it has solved a very specific problem. I've got an old school, vinyl lined, sand filter, chlorine pool. I've struggled with stains on my liner for over a year, and found it was caused by a 10 year old heater that had finally gave it up. Not only was it restricting flow, I think the metals in the heat exchanger: copper, brass or whatever , were dissolving into the water and causing the stains. After removing the heater, things improved, but the stains remained. I tried other pour in remedies, but no luck.
So I put one of these in my 30,000 gallon pool and overnight, the stains were noticeably improved. Within 2 days, all gone. I thought it may have been a fluke, but after 20 plus days, still gone and the water clarity has been the best its been all season. Pics show what was in there after the 20 days... Along with the marble things, it looks like the stuff in diapers...not impressive, or any color change like I'd hoped, but I can't deny the results.

My primary metal of concern is iron. When I remove the bags and cut them open after months of use they have no color indication at all. Once I add a treatment of any standard sequestrant (pro team metal magic, jacks pink stuff, pool stain tread, or plain old vitamin C i.e. ascorbic acid) the stains lift and the pool looks amazing. Unfortunately sequestrants wear off and need to be constantly added to keep the metal suspended. Hence my obsession with trying to make this Culator product work.
It does not surprise me that the Culator is useless. It's tea bag sized, and not very porous. So the water that flows near it just goes around it rather than the path of most resistance which would be through the bag. And it has so little area that the gallons of water that passes near it is a miniscule fraction of the pool's water volume. You might as well place a few magnets in a sock and drop that in ... at least that might result in a pull-in effect from the magnetic attraction.
I feel quite foolish for having raised hopes for this product based on the reviews of others. It amazes me how wrong they can be.
If you have a small amount of metal I would definitely give it a shot. If your pool is lime green or dirt brown then it will probably be cheaper to use a traditional metal sequesterent.
